Pure Tungsten Wire Mesh

Tungsten wire mesh is woven from pure tungsten wire, and its purity exceeds 99.9%. Tungsten is an off-white, very hard, refractory metal element that has the highest tensile strength and high-temperature resistance of any metal. After weaving into a tungsten wire mesh, it can maintain high strength even at high temperatures exceeding (1650 ℃)(3002℉) and is very durable. It has extremely high thermal creep resistance, the highest use temperature up to 3410 ℃(6170℉) (melting point of tungsten).


Besides, the surface of the tungsten wire mesh is flat, clean and flawless, and has good resistance to oxidation and corrosion in acidic and alkaline media. It has the smallest coefficient of thermal expansion and low vapor pressure at high temperatures, as well as good electrical and thermal conductivity. It also has the characteristics of fire resistance, low evaporation rate, and high resistance. It is the material of choice for important filters and screenings for mechanical, electrical, vacuum equipment, radiation protection, heating, and other special applications.

Like the titanium wire mesh, the surface is black when the graphite emulsion coating is on the surface, and it is bright white when the graphite emulsion coating is removed.
